“Wow”
is all I can say ... What a fun and
interesting project this book has been.
And it all started in 2002 when Marlon Sanders called me.
1. Marlon Sanders’ Call - The Beginning of the Story
“Chip
Tarver,” I said as I answered my cell phone that day.
“Hi,
Chip, this is Marlon Sanders.”
To
which I quickly replied, “No way. Who
really is this?”
“Chip,
it’s Marlon.”
“I
don’t believe you,” I said, “Prove it.”
“How
can I prove I’m me?” Marlon replied.
“OK
– now I believe you. What’s up,
Marlon?”
And that’s how it all started. But
we need to back up one step. Marlon
had sent out an email looking for trainers for some of his products, so I
emailed him.
This
call from him was because of that email. So
what did I do that caused Marlon to call me?
I piqued his curiosity …
